There are primarily five Mahadevas residing in Braj. In Mathura, there is Bhuteshwar Mahadev; in Vrindavan, Gopeshwar Mahadev; in Kaman (Kamyavan), Kameshwar Mahadev; in Nandgaon, Nandishwar Mahadev (Aseshwar Mahadev); and in Govardhan, Chakreshwar Mahadev (Chakleshwar Mahadev).
