Shri Vrindavan Vihari Temple, Vardhman Kunj - Vrindavan
This is Shri Vrindavan Vihari Temple located at Vardhman Kunj, Vrindavan.
This temple was built in the year 1660 by Maharaja Abhaychand Mehtab. At that time there were Tulsi and Karil trees everywhere in Vrindavan. At the time of the construction of the temple, when the Karil trees started to be cut, blood started flowing from the Karil tree located in the temple, seeing that Maharaja Abhaychand immediately stopped the cutting of the trees. In the night, a Brahmin of Kashi said to Maharaja in a dream that I am sitting under this Karil tree, do not cut me, you should get Thakur Vrindavan Vihari Ji established here.
Since then, that Karil tree is still present today.
