Surdas Kuti, Chandra Sarovar, Parasauli
Parasauli is the place of the spring Raas Leela of Krishna and His beloved gopis. This raas continued for an entire night of Brahma. The moon in the sky had become stunned upon seeing this raas leela and hide in Sarovar for the duration of the entire Maharaas. Because the moon (Chandra) was hidden in this Sarovar, this place is also called Chandra Sarovar. “the lake of the moon”. In the south-western corner of the Sarovar is the Shringar Temple where Krishna decorated Shri Radharani.
Lord Krishna made 5 rocks appear here;
1. Sundar Shila [Giriraj Mukharvind].
2. Dadavati Shila [Shri Krishna prostrated to this Giriraj Rock].
3. Sindoori Shila [Shri Krishna took Sindoor (Vermillion) from this rock and put on Shri Radharani's parted hair above the forehead].
