Kamyavan preserves the holy places of Shri Radhamadhav within its boundaries. Even today Kamyavan (Kaman) is covered with forests, lakes, ponds, and various hills, and their picturesque caves are situated in the west direction of Braj. "Among the twelve forests of Braj, the fourth forest is Kaamvan, about which there is a saying that "Kaamvan jaaye te kaam ban jaat hai". Kaam means desires, which are fulfilled in Kamyavan.
